Ito Ryokan was a hot mess. The walls were thinner than paper, so sweet dreams were impossible. Also, I looked forward to a nice welcome gift, but apparently, that was too much to ask. And let’s talk about that musty odor—absolutely delightful. I almost considered a good review, but here we are. Better luck next time, folks.

The bedding was super warm and inviting.

I struggled with the shared bathroom situation as it felt less convenient. Additionally, the noise from the thin walls was quite disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. The room size was mediocre and challenging, especially when carrying my luggage up the steep stairs.

It was just an optimal selection for a weekend excursion in Tokyo with great value for money. The bedding was super warm, making my nights cozy despite the cold. Bring an eye mask to block light from the street for better sleep.

friendly staff

would love to come back

The room was super cute and clean. The air conditioning worked great. Loved the futons and enjoyed the cute yukatas. It had a nice dining area, and the shared bathrooms were clean. Staff tried hard to help us, even with calling taxis. The location was convenient, near subway access which was a plus.
